Anti-money Laundering Policy

Scope and objectives

Tuzbet adopts this Anti‑Money Laundering (AML) Policy to prevent and detect money laundering and the financing of terrorism in relation to all Tuzbet services. The policy applies to all customers, prospective customers, agents, contractors, and employees acting on Tuzbet's behalf, and governs all platforms and products operated by Tuzbet.

Regulatory framework and licensing

Tuzbet operates under a licensed gaming framework and complies with applicable AML and countering‑the‑financing‑of‑terrorism laws and regulations. The Tuzbet AML program encompasses risk assessment, customer due diligence, ongoing transaction monitoring, reporting of suspicious activity, recordkeeping, and ongoing staff training. Tuzbet cooperates with competent authorities and will disclose information where legally required.

KYC and customer due diligence

  • Triggering verification: A full KYC review is required when a customer accumulates deposits in excess of EUR 2000 in aggregate across all accepted currencies or initiates any withdrawal.
  • Documentation: The customer must provide a government issued photo identity document, a selfie holding the document, and a document confirming residential address such as a bank statement or utility bill issued within the last three months. In some cases the front and back of the identity document may be requested.
  • Temporary approval and review timeline: After submission, the account status will appear as temporarily approved. Tuzbet’s KYC team will complete the review within 24 hours and provide a decision: approval, rejection, or a request for additional information.
  • Limitations during temporary status: While marked temporarily approved, the customer may access the platform but may not deposit beyond 500 EUR in aggregate and is not eligible to withdraw funds.
  • Card verifications: If deposits were made by bank card, Tuzbet may request a photo of the card showing the cardholder name and card number with the CVC field obscured to confirm ownership. The card details themselves must be protected.
  • Source of funds and income verification: Tuzbet may require supporting documentation such as income statements or payment method statements to verify the legality of funds and the source of deposits, and may request translations where applicable.
  • Additional verification steps: In appropriate cases Tuzbet may require a video or telephone interview to verify identity and ownership.
  • Unsuccessful KYC handling: If the KYC process cannot be completed satisfactorily, the reason will be documented, and a support ticket opened. The customer will be notified of the outcome and any further steps.
  • Jurisdictional and eligibility constraints: Tuzbet may restrict access from residents or users located in jurisdictions where service is prohibited or restricted under applicable law or licensing rules. Examples may include certain high‑risk or FATF noncooperative jurisdictions and other territories as determined by Tuzbet in line with regulatory requirements.

Ongoing monitoring and risk management

Tuzbet maintains ongoing risk‑based monitoring of transactions and customer profiles. The AML program includes automated transaction screening, daily review of anomalies, periodic updates to customer information, and escalation of high‑risk cases for enhanced due diligence. Customers may be asked to refresh KYC information if risk factors change or upon regulatory requirement.

Sanctions, screening and restricted jurisdictions

Tuzbet screens customers against applicable sanctions lists and politically exposed persons lists. Access to Tuzbet services is prohibited for residents or entities located in jurisdictions deemed restricted by Tuzbet or its regulator. Tuzbet may update these restrictions consistent with regulatory obligations and publish such changes within a reasonable timeframe.

Data protection, privacy and data handling

Tuzbet collects personal information for AML purposes in accordance with its privacy policy and the governing data protection laws. Data may be processed, stored, and transferred across borders to ensure effective AML controls. Personal information will be retained for as long as necessary to satisfy legal, regulatory, or contractual obligations and in line with internal retention schedules. Tuzbet implements technical and organizational measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorised access, and disclosure. Access to personal information is restricted to authorised personnel; information disclosed on public forums or platforms is not protected.

Recordkeeping and reporting

Tuzbet maintains records of identity verification, source of funds documentation, transaction records, and internal AML investigations for the period required by applicable law. Where Tuzbet identifies or suspects money laundering or terrorist financing activity, it will promptly report to the appropriate competent authorities in accordance with legal obligations and cooperate with investigations where required.

User obligations and security

Customers must provide accurate information, promptly update any changes, and comply with all KYC and AML requests. Customers are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their Tuzbet account credentials and ensuring their devices are secure. Tuzbet will not be liable for losses arising from unauthorized use where the customer failed to maintain reasonable security.

Policy updates and notice

Tuzbet may amend this policy from time to time to reflect changes in law, regulation, or its AML controls. Any material changes will be communicated to customers and will take effect immediately or as otherwise stated. Existing users may discontinue using Tuzbet’s products and services within two weeks after such notice if they do not accept the amended terms.
